How is my profit calculated for sales in the Readymade Store?
To calculate your profit, let’s first break it down so it’s clear how your earnings are determined. When your artwork sells, here’s the process:
Start with the Sale Price: This is what the customer pays for your artwork.
Subtract the Costs: We deduct costs involved in preparing and selling your artwork, which includes, printing, framing, credit card fees, handling and packaging.
Your Profit: After we’ve covered the costs, we split what’s left over. Think of it like this: We take the sale price of your artwork, subtract all the costs mentioned above and then the remainder, we divide that in half. That’s your profit.
Why are only certain artworks selected for the Readymade Store?
The Readymade Store is curated to offer a balanced and manageable selection, making it easier for businesses to choose artworks. While all Commercial Ready artworks may be qualified, the store may limit the number to show a range of styles and mediums.
Will my artwork be cropped or altered?
Selected artworks may be cropped to fit into our pre-made sizes and frames. Cropping will be carried out expertly and professionally.
How will I know if my artwork is selected for the Readymade Store?
Artists will be promptly notified via email if their artwork is chosen for the Readymade Store.
When will I receive payment for sold artworks?
Payments are made at the end of each month.
Can I choose which of my artworks are included in the Readymade Store?
Yes, artists can choose specific artworks to be included. When you agree to join the Readymade Store, all your commercial-ready art will be approved for use. To remove a work, just go to the edit screen of your artwork to opt out. Checkout this help desk tutorial to learn how
